The 6th Grade Dream

The 6th grade dream?

The 6th grade dream?

The 6th grade dream did it come true? I actually don’t know because most of its new and some of its still the same. What I mean is that school is totally different then 5th or 4th grade.  It’s different because attitudes got bigger and so did our minds, well at least some of them did. Clothes changed from just don’t care to if I pick the wrong outfit I’ll die and our emotions are so out of control. Kids are already dating and holding hands. Isn’t that crazy. The things that stayed the same would have to be the drama some how the stuff we freaked about last year found its way over into Royal Springs middle school. That’s why I find it hard to be friends with the girls from last year but I guess that’s life for me and some other kids and yes I know what you thinking is this for real or is it a 6th grader who wants attention well yes I love attention but this is just the beginning of my awesome 6th grade journey!

This past week it all been about relationships and I really don't know why.  Did you know half of the fights in the school are started with "you stole my boyfriend " or " what, who did you say he's cheating on me with" this just drives me crazy especially when my BFF is involved with it. I mean it is so difficult to see your awesome friend sulk all day long because her heart is supposedly broken. What I tell her to do is get over the people that don't like her and notice the people that actually do because while she's just being  upset all day she didn't notice the boy who actually tried to ask her out.

The next week started out awesome with a hot breakfast at school and the teachers making there rooms ready for battle because this week was conservation week which means that all week long is off schedule and more fun than ever. This week we actually had almost no classes. This week was filled with quest speakers and assemblies. On Friday we got to spend the entire day out side. this Friday started out great because the teachers were a wreck running around school getting every thing prepared while the love struck tween girls would make sure that they're boyfreinds' would some how save them if they lost their footing in the creek. To me everything was perfect. We had so much fun with at least 12 different stations to be at outside. The 1st one was boring and long with the sun also in my eyes this didn't start out fun. The second place was ok we got to touch crawdads and one actually pinched me! The rest of the stations were awesome lets just say I tackled a teacher , caught crawdads and swam in the creek  and got to role down a huge hill but after that I realized I had gotten something I like to call chiggers.

When we walked back to school everyone was so tired that for the rest of the day we just sat around for the rest of the day in wet shoes watching some old Disney movie. While this was all happening I kept thinking how it could be better but what I realized was that I wouldn't change a thing because it was all perfect
